TES IV: Oblivion Remastered will get two updates in the upcoming weeks, according to a post on the game’s Steam page dedicated to the beta of Update 1.1.
On June 5, 2025, the beta of Update 1.1 will land on Steam, while other platforms will get access only on June 11, 2025. According to the post on Steam, the first of the two updates will focus on quests, quality-of-life fixes, major bugs, and blockers.
According to the patch notes, the game will fix 11 crashes and 7 system bugs. On top of that, 12 gameplay fixes and 8 UI fixes will be delivered.
As for quest fixes, Savlian will no longer be stuck after the Castle Courtyard fight during The Battle for Kvatch. Vincente Valtieri won’t lose his hair during A Knife in the Dark. The NPC will now appear properly in Finding the Thieves Guild. The diary page won’t be hidden under a bowl anymore in The Sunken One, and the crash when Hieronymus Lex attempts to take Llathasa’s Bust out of the cupboard in Myvryna Arano’s house during The Elven Maiden will be fixed as well.
Co-developed by Virtuos and Bethesda Game Studios, TES IV: Oblivion Remastered was published by Bethesda Softworks on April 22, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the expansion packs Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles included.
According to the latest estimates dated June 2025, TES IV: Oblivion Remastered has sold 2 million copies on Steam alone and gathered more than 4 million players across all platforms. It became the third-best-selling game of 2025 in the US by dollar sales within its first week, surpassed only by Monster Hunter: Wilds and Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Notably, the original 2006 release sold approximately 9.5 million copies worldwide.
