During the previous low concurrent player count in May 2023, Fortnite had just added Mega City – a modern metropolis that resemebles a futurustic Tokyo. Mega City was the biggest Point of Interest to ever exist.
The Star Wars x Fortnite collaboration added numerous updates, evolving the meta within the game as the mini-season progressed. During this month, EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II also saw a resurgence in popularity – the phenomenon occurred as a result of the month of Star Wars celebrations, which included Fortnite’s massive marketing campaign alongside the release and success of Andor season 2.
Epic Games is to conclude the Star Wars celebration on June 7 at 2 pm ET. Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is expected to begin after a period of downtime. In addition to the Star Wars collaborations’ departure, Fortnite OG Ranked Mode is being removed as well.
