Rebellion has announced Wicked Isle, the first major expansion for Atomfall, launching on June 3 for $19.99 — free for Deluxe Edition owners and 10% off for Game Pass subscribers.

This DLC introduces Midsummer Island, a new area near the Windscale Atom Plant, where heightened radiation levels have led to increased environmental and human infection. To access this new area, players will have to speak to a boat-keeper at the jetty in Wyndham Village, who provides the first lead.

According to developers, the new expansion will be heavily integrated into the base game’s narrative and open multiple new story threads, including alternate endings for the main campaign.

Players will encounter new enemy factions, including pirate bandits and infected druids, and can acquire new weapons such as a blunderbuss shotgun, a bow, cutlasses, daggers and something referred to as “the Beekeeper’s Staff.” The expansion also adds new skills and an upgraded metal detector to uncover additional loot caches.

Atomfall, released on March 27, 2025, is a survival action game set in an alternate 1960s Britain after a nuclear disaster. Despite mixed critical reception, the game found commercial success, reaching 1.5 million players shortly after launch — thanks in part to its inclusion in Game Pass.
