On May 28, Cortopia Studios announced that it’s creating the first-ever Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VR game. It’s going to be called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City and is slated for release in 2026.

Not much is known about the game aside from the Foot Clan being the main antagonist in the game, based on the trailer’s description. Aside from that, players will also have a chance to do some parkour in the streets of New York City while also fighting against fan-favorite villains.

Combat seems to involve a mechanic called precision strikes and precision blocks. The game can be played solo and multiplayer, with up to three people able to participate. It’s currently unclear how the game’s multiplayer will work.

Aside from Empire City, a game based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is also being developed. A report by Polygon said that the senior vice president for games and emerging media at Paramount Global likened the upcoming game to God of War.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City will only be available on Meta Oculus Quest 2 and 3 and Valve Index. It will be developed by Cortopia Studios, the studio behind Gorn 2, Silent North and Grim.
