Epic Games is giving away a new Burnoff skin in Fortnite to celebrate the game’s return to iOS. The cosmetic item is now available to all users who log in to Fortnite on a mobile device before June 17. Once unlocked, the skin will be permanently tied to the player’s Epic Games account and can be used on any platform.
The offer applies to players on both iOS and Android platforms. To claim the skin, you must install Fortnite on a compatible device and sign in with your Epic Games account. If the reward doesn’t appear automatically, you can find it by navigating to the Locker tab in the main menu.
Burnoff is a remixed version of the classic Whiteout skin from Chapter 1 Season 5 and comes with alternate style options, including a helmet toggle.
Fortnite returned to the iOS App Store on May 20, 2025, nearly five years after its removal following a legal dispute between Epic Games and Apple over in-app payment systems. A federal judge later ruled that Apple must allow alternative payment methods, clearing the way for Fortnite’s reinstatement. The game quickly topped charts upon its return.
Since its 2017 launch, Fortnite has become one of the most successful and culturally influential video games ever, attracting nearly half a billion registered users and setting multiple records, including 14.3 million concurrent players during the Remix: The Finale event, which featured a posthumous track by rapper Juice WRLD.
