Team Vitality swept Mouz in the grand final of Counter-Strike 2’s IEM Dallas 2025 to win the tournament and extend its win streak to 30. IEM Dallas 2025 is the final S-tier tournament of Counter-Strike 2 before the Austin Major 2025, one of the game’s biggest events.
Mouz showed signs of life as it played against what is currently considered the best Counter-Strike 2 team, Vitality. However, Mouz wasn’t able to close it out, as any attempt at a comeback was stifled by the eventual champions. Team Vitality swiftly swept Mouz 3-0 in the grand final.
Mouz player Dorian “xertioN” Berman took to X to share his thoughts, saying that the loss hurts and acknowledging that the team was “always a step behind.”
Team Vitality has shown vulnerability during the tournament. Its semi-final opponent, Team Falcons, pushed them to the brink again, sending the eventual champions to a three-map game and almost overtime.
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was crowned the MVP once more, making this his 26th time winning the award.
One of Counter-Strike 2’s biggest events, Austin Major 2025, starts on June 3, 2025. It will be almost a month-long barrage of Counter-Strike 2 action with the best teams in the world competing for the coveted major title.
