Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Master Crafted Edition Release Date Announced

Warhammer 40k: Space Marines is to receive a remaster on June 10, 2025. Rebranded as Space Marine Master Crafted Edition, the remastered version releases on Xbox Series X|S and PC; the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass immediately upon launch. No news regarding a PlayStation 5 release has been revealed. 

This particular remaster features 4K resolution, modernized controls, improved character models, and remastered audio. As for content, Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Master Crafted Edition includes the original Space Marines game and all DLC. According to the Steam posting, the game supports cross-platform multiplayer.

The remaster is being primarily developed by SneakyBox; the studio is partnering with the original dev team, Relic Entertainment. SneakyBox specializes in game ports and remasters; their latest remaster titles include Berzerk: Recharge and Quantum: Recharged. Sega is in charge of publishing the remastered title.

The original Warhammer 40K: Space Marines was released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC over a decade ago on Sept. 6, 2011. The title’s sequel, Space Marine 2, surpassed 4.5 million copies sold and launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
