Lies of P: Overture Expansion Adds Difficulty Option and Replayable Bosses

Lies of P: Overture expansion adds new difficulty options Butterfly’s Guidance and Awakened Puppet alongside a new boss battle mode. The default difficult setting is now called Legendary Stalker. The new difficulty options offer both an easier experience or more difficult battles, depending on what the player desires. These new options catered towards widening the target demographic.
“By making development adjustments and introducing these difficulty options, we can offer the experience to different types of players. This broadens the base,” game director Jiwon Choi stated.
As for the boss battle mode, Lies of P: Overture debuts Death March – where players take down as many bosses as possible while having access to a limited pool of items and health.
“We’re committed to esnuring that the love and support we received for Lies of P is honored and, at the same time, telling the stroy we’ve always wanted to share. Rest assured, we’ll continue giving it our all until the very end,” Choi said, expressing gratitude to the community of players for continued support.
Lies of P: Overture is the prequel to the main entry, and is slated to release in summer of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The exact release date has not been revealed. Lies of P is a single player souls-like, and has reportedly reached 7 million players worldwide.
