On May 21, Persona 5: The Phantom X announced that it had reached over 800,000 pre-registered users after it was revealed that the game is coming out in the West on May 15. The game is already available in selected countries, such as Japan, South Korea and China.
Pre-registration in gacha games usually means that players will receive rewards once the game is released, depending on how many players pre-registered. Persona 5: The Phantom X is no different. According to a post on X from Persona 5: Phantom X West, reaching 1 million pre-registered users will guarantee players 10 free contract draws.
Aside from that, fans have already unlocked a few perks due to the sheer number of people excited for its release. Here are four perks:
- 10 Free Contract Draws
- 5 Free Weapon Draws
- Free Outfit for the Protagonist
- Free Character-Themed Avatar Frame and Profile Card
The post hints that there might be more follower milestones should the numbers exceed 1 million; however, the developers have not said what freebies will follow.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is a mobile and PC game set in the Persona 5 universe. While the game is already out in other countries, it is set to become available in Western countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom for the first time. The game will be available on June 26. Unfortunately, the Southeast Asian version of the game is still in development and will not be included in the Western release.
