Team Vitality won Blast Rivals S1 over Team Falcons after a five-map series ending on Nuke, which is considered one of the latter’s best maps. With this win, Team Vitality extends its 25 LAN win streak.

Blast Rivals Season 1’s grand final was between Team Falcons and Team Vitality, a rematch of IEM Melbourne 2025. Similar to the latter tournament, the series made use of the full five-map selection, where both teams were pushed to their limits once more.

“Another one with five maps as well. I think I’m dying,” Dan “apEX” Madesclaire said, talking to HLTV. While Vitality’s win streak is still not broken, the Falcons managed to break Vitality’s 16-game win streak on Inferno. In return, Vitality ended the series with Nuke, widely considered as one of the Falcons’ best maps.

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut won the MVP award, further cementing himself as one of the best players to ever play Counter-Strike. After winning, ZywOo commented that Team Falcons will be a very competitive opponent in the major, which is happening from June 2 to 22. “If they keep playing like this and keep showing a great face, they have the opportunity to be top 2, top 1 of the year […] I think they will be really competitive for the Major.”

The next tournament where these two will face off is at Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025, which is about a week before the major tournament ZywOo was talking about, Blast.tv Austin Major 2025.
