Marvel Rivals Patch Update Introduces Costume Color Customization

NetEase revealed a new costume color customization feature for Marvel Rivals – a feature that allows players to select a different color schematic for their favorite costumes. The announcement was shared on social media, where they stated “You can change your favorite costumes’ color combos directly in the Costumes tab starting April 17 at 9:00 AM UTC/2:00 AM PDT.”
The exact costumes receiving color customizations have not been revealed, but their promotional image does feature various chromatic variations for Luna Snow, Mr. Solider, Psylocke, and Magik.
Outside of this announcement, nothing else has been officially confirmed by NetEase, the company responsible for Marvel Rivals. The announcement did state to “head to the store” in reference to the color customization, which indicates a paid cosmetic.
There are a handful of free skins readily available on Marvel Rivals. MarvelRivals.gg has instructions on how to acquire the mentioned costumes – clicking on the internal links within the ‘How to Get’ tab reveals articles detailing the appropriate step-by-step process to earn the free Marvel Rivals costumes.
