11 Bit Studio is creating a new project within the Frostpunk universe, scheduled to debut in 2027. The studio also has an independent IP undergoing development, slated for a 2029 launch. The news was revealed in the studios’ financial report – further confirmed by EuroGamer’s exclusive interview with 11 Bit Studio CEO Przemysław Marszał.
Despite receiving mixed reviews on Steam, thereby indicating a controversial game launch, 11 Bit Studio fully intends on focusing their efforts on Frostpunk 2. “We totally believe in Frostpunk. We believe in that IP. We totally believe in that fantasy,” Marszał told EuroGamer.
“On the Frostpunk 2 front, we are doing a lot of work right now.
